If your website is not ranked well in Google, it is like you never put it up. The traffic volume dramatically lowers as your rank lowers. Being in the first 10 is important as taught in ppc bully. If your site is not on the first few pages, it is unlikely that your web site will ever be seen – except by you and your friends!
Google takes into consideration many factors before listing your website in the top ten. But no one knows exactly how much weight Google attaches to each factor. For this reason, no one can guarantee your spot in Google.
You can get into the first page of Google if you follow basic search engine optimization principles and are prepared to work hard. Here are some factors that contribute to your search results:
* Your target keyword
* Number of competing pages for your target keyword
* The size of your website
* Usage of keywords in your website
* How may incoming links you have
To get to the top ten of Google, make sure your website is the best for the services and products you offer. Make your visitors loyal to your website by constantly adding value to your website. Be on top of things when in comes to your niche market.
Research the keyword that you wish to target. Sprinkle some of the keywords in your website. Make sure it still makes sense to your visitors. Put relevant keywords as well but do not put your keywords repeatedly.
Link back to your website as much as you can. Each backlink is like a vote to your website.
Although your SEO efforts are worthwhile if you have the time and energy for it, there are many things you can do to optimize your website if you can’t afford to pay an expert. Just remember that optimizing your site takes time and you are unlikely to see immediate results unless you have identified a keyword that has little effective competition.
