When it comes to beauty tips, I find that the reservoir is running low when it comes to lips. After all, the first five minutes after putting on your lipstick your lips still look great. Why not have more realistic goals. Don’t you want that full, sensuous look all day long? And I really don’t mean the type that is known for being shiny and delicious but sticks to my soda can, either.

If you really want to wear really lip stick, but love how lip gloss looks, then mix away. Put lip gloss on one lip and lip stick on the other. Now just rub together and blot. You will notice that this results in a beautiful, shiny version of your own lipstick that tends to last longer.

If you stay hydrated, your lips will stay plum and beautiful. Of course it might sound silly, but when you are dehydrated, your lips show the first signs. This tends to make you lick your lips more which causes your lipstick or gloss to come off. So you really do get a lot more out of drinking at least 8 eight ounce glasses of water a day.
