What Do You Think About Marketing To Church Congregations?

My partner and I run a photo studio. We were thinking about sending letters to local churches saying if they pass out a flyer or business card or something with their bulletin, and somebody brings it in, we will donate 10% of the sale to the church it came from. What are the overall thoughts on this plan? Has anyone tried anything similar?
