I would like to do some freelance business writing for local companies or ad/pr agencies but don’t know how to begin marketing my services. I’d also like to break into freelance magazine or newspaper writing. Any help in how to break into these markets would be appreciated.

Yes definitely! I’m a fine art student and we’re always encouraged to keep our sketch books handy to draw people anywhere and everywhere to get confidence not only in ourselves but also in the marks we make. The Sunday market would be a really good place to draw because it would be busy. If you are a traveler, Venice is fantastic because there are tonnes of people drawing and painting in the streets anyway, and the locals didn’t seem to mind.
