How Long Does Fresh Sushi Grade Tuna From The Supermarket Last?

I ordered some yellowfin tuna and the local market just called to say it is ready for pickup and I am wondering how long it will last. Do I have to get it all eaten in a day? Or do I have a couple or even a few days to get it eaten? I think I read or heard once before that I can’t freeze it but I wanted to have a fun little party tomorrow with some friends over for a homemade sushi and japanese style party.
thanks for any help!

Can Someone Give Me A Recipe For Sofrito? My Local Market Stopped Seeling Fresh Stuff =(?

Basic Italian soffrito (with 2 f’s) has onion, garlic, carrot and celery. Mince onion, carrot and celery and “soffriggere” (under cook or under-fry) in abundant best quality olive oil until the onion wilts, add the garlic until golden and then a splash of wine and stop cooking when the wine evaporates.
Basic Spanish sofrito has onion, garlic & bell pepper and often times some condensed tomato. Mince onion and pepper (generally green) and fry up in plenty of olive oil until wilted. Add the garlic – fry until golden and add the tomato. Stir and stop cooking when slightly reduced.
Puerto Ricans sometimes add a spoon of sweet paprika too.
Super fast made-in-a-blender Sofrito – one medium yellow or white onion, half a seeded bell pepper (best of roasted – you can find these in a jar at the super), 2 cloves garlic and some oregano. Blend and use as needed.
Below is a sofrito by Belina Cruz – I would add a cup of olive oil to all her ingredients instead of a tsp and add it last.

How Would I Approach Local Schools With View To Supplying Them With Fresh Produce?

I currently supply local fish & chip shops (around 40tonne/1600 bags a week) and would like to see if its possible to approach local schools with the intent to supply them with my product. We pride ourselves on the local quality of our produce and maintain a competitive price even thought the market fluctuates daily.Basically i have no idea how to go about it and would like to hear the views of business minded people who have perhaps experienced such a problem in the past.
Kind Regards,
Paul

My Company Ever Fresh Valley Supplying Vegetables In Local Market(malaysia), How To Promote To Overseas.?

The first step will be to contact your local trade and commerce office. They probably already have markets that malaysian producers can access. Hopefully, they will also help you regarding quality issues etc. The overseas market for vegetables is quite competitive and quality is key. You may also try to diversify into baby veggies and organics.
