How Can I Get Local Channels With Directv?

Local channels with DirecTV are not available in my market and I don’t have high definition. What is my best way to go about getting local channels? I tried a set of old rabbit ears, but to no avail. I’m just trying to get ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I currently supply local fish & chip shops (around 40tonne/1600 bags a week) and would like to see if its possible to approach local schools with the intent to supply them with my product. Now at college she gets all the channels except local channels. It just says searching for satellite. Can this be fixed or do we just live with out them?

these WEIRD….WEIRD looking tubular brown …fishes I guess….and the end opened and closed because they were alive. No eyes or anything, but opening at the end of these tubes!! They were marked as Gaebull and priced in the fish market section. What in the world were those and WHAT do you do with them food-wise?
