I recently posted a question about the love birds I breed and sell for a small fee to cover expenses . And one of the answers was from a large scale breeder was this… . They said I should stop breeding the birds in case they end up unwanted and will flood the market. Well, the pet store is going to buy them as long as there is a demand. And my birds r raised on a small scale so they get a lot of love and attention. They do not have to go throught the stress of being shipped. Large scale breeders hate it when local small scale not for profit breeders compete for thier $$ and ;i think they are the ones who shoould stop breeding if they r so concerned obout overpopulation. In the old days pp bought thier pets from local breeders, it is only since the pet mills have arrived that the market has flooded.
